Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of government spending and labor on the gross regional domestic product (GDP) of Riau Province. This type of research used is descriptive quantitative. This study uses secondary data in the form of a time series regarding the conditions of government spending, labor, and gross regional domestic product in 2009-2018, so the population and sample are not used in this study. Based on the results of this study using multiple regression analysis, it was found that the government spending variable had a negative and insignificant effect on gross regional domestic product, then the labor variable had a positive and significant effect on the level of gross regional domestic product in Riau province.
