Abstract

conducted based on the phenomena occurring in the Village Consultative Body of Pekan Tebih Village, Kepenuhan Hulu Subdistrict, including the suboptimal performance of the Village Consultative Body in carrying out its duties and functions, the human resources within the Village Consultative Body are still not sufficiently competent, and in terms of accommodating the aspirations of the community, the Village Consultative Body has not fulfilled its tasks optimally. The objective of this research is to determine and obtain information on whether the Village Consultative Body of Pekan Tebih, Kepenuhan Hulu Subdistrict, has performed its supervisory functions based on Law Number 6 of 2014. The method of drawing conclusions in this research is inductive, where the chosen method is to conclude the results of this research by drawing conclusions from specific to general aspects. The research results indicate that the Village Consultative Body of Pekan Tebih Village, Kepenuhan Hulu Subdistrict, has not effectively fulfilled its functions. The main inhibiting factors are the low participation of the Village Consultative Body officials and the insufficient competence of human resources. On the other hand, this research also identifies some supporting factors such as democratic selection of Village Consultative Body members, a positive organizational culture, and effective collaboration patterns among the village community.
