Abstract

Village Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) are village business institutions managed by the community and village government in an effort to strengthen the village economy and are formed based on village needs and potential. The aim of this research is to find out the role of BUMDes Karya Usaha in increasing the income of the people of Gunung Sari Village, Gunung Sahilan Regency. The type of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that, BUMDes Karya Usaha has played a role in increasing the income of the Gunung Sari Village community in providing venture capital, providing marketing commodity areas, supervising business development in the community, providing motivation to business actors, implementing training programs and finally on indicators of community participation and supervision significantly on the business capital provided. Some things that have not been implemented include opening jobs, reducing unemployment and conducting cooperation or partnerships with economic actors in the community.
