Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of employee engagement on employee performance at the Pagaran Tapah Darussalam sub-district office and Ujung Batu sub-district office. The population in this study were 68 employees. Sampling using purposive sampling method, namely a portion of the population as a sample of 43 people. Types and sources of data are primary and secondary data, while data collection techniques use observation, questionnaires and interviews. Analysis of the data used in this study is a simple linear analysis, namely the t test, r-square test and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that employee engagement has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Pagaran Tapah Darussalam sub-district office and Ujung Batu sub-district office. The level of relationship between the two variables is in the strong category, which means that the ability of the independent variables to explain the dependent variable is good.
