Abstract

Community service activities aim to form students who are not only excellent in academics, but also have noble character. Character education emphasizes the development of positive attitudes and behaviors that reflect moral and ethical values, such as honesty, responsibility, discipline, empathy, and cooperation. The main goal is to instill positive values that shape students' personalities and characters, so that they can be applied in daily life. Character education can be implemented through various methods, such as integrating character values in the curriculum, holding extracurricular activities, and involving students in social activities in the community, such as mutual cooperation or training for parents and educators. With this approach, it is hoped that students of SMP PGRI Pekanbaru can better understand and apply character education in their lives to become better and responsible individuals. The school praises the results of service. The school hopes that this activity can be continued to improve the quality of human resources in schools by helping students behave well. Based on the results of the interview, the school gave a positive response to the service activities that had been carried out. Overall, service activities that focus on character education at SMP PGRI Pekanbaru have a positive impact, both for students, parents, and the school.
