Abstract
This study aims to determine the antibacterial activity of Crown of God leaf extract to inhibit the growth of pathogenic bacteria A. hydrophila, V. alginolyticus and E. tarda. The materials used in this study were leaf extract of the god crown, bacteria A. hydrophila, V. alginolyticus and E. tarda, metenol, Rtil, NB, NA, disc paper and distilled water. The method used was an experiment using a completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 2 replications namely P1 (10% concentration), P2 (20% concentration), P3 (35% concentration), P4 (40% concentration) and P5 ( Concentration 50%). The results showed that the leaf extract of the god crown contains antibacterial compounds, namely flavonoids, saponins, steroids/terpenoids and phenolics and to know the concentration of the leaf extract of the god crown is the best for inhibiting the growth of pathogenic bacteria A. hydrophila, V. alginolyticus and E. tarda, concentration 10% - 40% is included in the moderate category, at a concentration of 50% is included in the strong category
