Abstract
LABORATORY TESTS THE EFFECT OF ADDITIVE ACCELERATOR (KCL) WITH COMPARISON OF LOST CIRCULATION MATERIAL (CaCO3) AND (SiO2) SUSPENSION CEMENT ON THE VALUE OF COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH, SHEAR BOND STRENGTH, THICKENING TIME AND FREE WATER MUHAMMAD HAFIS ISNANTA NPM 173210220 ABSTRACT The important role of cement cannot be separated from the parameters that must be considered in making cement to function optimally including the value of compressive strength, shear bond strength, thickening time and free water, cement strength needs to be considered to reduce the risk of unwanted damage to cement later. According to the standard of the American Petroleum Institute (API) the recommended compressive strength value is 500 psi and for shear bond strength more than 100 psi, but for the thickening time value there is a maximum consistency limit of 100 BC so that cement can still be pumped. The results of the research carried out obtained the highest compressive strength and shear bond strength values of 5451 psi and 469 psi using KCL with a concentration of 3%, for the highest thickening time value of 160 minutes was obtained using a combination of KCL and CaCO3 at a concentration of 1%, the value obtained from the measurement of free water related to the hardening time obtained from the thickening time test, the more water that is free from the cement suspension, the longer the cement setting time. From the determination of CS, SBS, thickening time and free water combination of KCL and 1% SiO2 the results were classified as good for all experiments carried out.Lost circulation material, Accelerator, Compressive strength, Shear bond strength, Thickening time.
