Abstract

The Satisfaction Level of Broiler Breeders through the Performance of the Partnership of PT. Semesta Mitra Sejahtera in Rokan IV Koto District Rokan Hulu Regency Riau Province. Under the Guidance of Mrs. Dr. Ir. Marliati, M. Si. Satisfaction of plasma broiler breeders is an important factor in the partnership business development process. This research aims to analyze: 1) Characteristics of breeders, employee, livestock business profiles, and profiles of PT. SMS; 2) Pattern of the partnership between breeders and PT. SMS; 3) The satisfaction level of breeders through the performance of PT. SMS; and 4) Improvement strategy breeders satisfaction with the performance of PT. SMS. This research was conducted in Rokan IV Koto District, Rokan Hulu Regency, using a survey method with a sample of 20 breeders and 1 employee. The research time is for 6 months, starting from June-November 2022. Methods of data analysis using qualitative descriptive analysis, quantitative descriptive analysis, customer satisfaction index (CSI), and importance-performance analysis (IPA). The research results show that: 1) The average age of the breeders was 42.4 years, the education level was 14.95 years, the business experience was 2.9 years and the family members were 4 people. Meanwhile for employees of PT. Semesta Mitra Sejahtera is 36 years old, has 16 years of education level, 3 years of business experience, and 3 family dependents. The average number of livestock owned by breeders is 15,300 heads, the area of the stable is 1,831.30 m2, and the source of capital comes from their own capital with a workforce of 3 people. PT. Semesta Mitra Sejahtera was established in 2002 before Retno Widayati, SH, a notary based in Pekanbaru. 2) The partnership pattern run by PT. Semesta Mitra Sejahtera contains provisions that have been mutually agreed upon, which include the form of partnership, procedures, and conditions for partner acceptance, rights and obligations of plasma breeders and companies, as well as the implementation of rights and obligations between the core company and plasma breeders. 3) IPA results show that the attributes that need to be improved are the suitability of the selling price, the timeliness of harvesting, the timeliness of payment of yields, and the provision of bonuses. The CSI results show that the attributes that have dissatisfied criteria are the timeliness of payment of results and the provision of bonuses. Overall the CSI value is 75%, meaning that the farmer is satisfied with the company's performance. 4) Improvement strategy based on IPA and CSI, namely: a) Selling price conformity; reviewing and reviewing the selling price of chickens in the market and adjusting to the selling price of the company; b) Timeliness of harvest; creating a more accurate and systematic scheduling system, with a minimum harvest time of 7 days from the specified time; c) Timely payment of results; make better and detailed scheduling, no later than 2 weeks after harvest; d) Provision of bonuses; improving and slightly reducing the Performance Index (IP), as well as conducting outreach regarding good livestock handling and management.
