Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out about the value of local wisdom in Olek-Olek Banjar tradition in Pulau Ingu Village, Benai District, Kuantan Singingi Regency, Riau Province. The theory of local wisdom values used theory from Mungmachon (2012: 174) which states that local wisdom values are all forms of norms, ethics, trust, customs. The method used in this research is qualitative research using descriptive methods, namely the researcher collects accurate data from sources regarding the value of local wisdom in Olek-Olek Banjar tradition to improve research results and make it easier to determine problem formulation. The results of this research are that there are four local wisdom values in Olek-Olek Banjar tradition, namely the norm values that can be seen from Olek-Olek Banjar being a meeting place for the Pulau Ingu village community with the Government. The ethical values in Olek-Olek Banjar tradition can be seen from reception guest. guest, The value of trust in Olek-Olek Banjar tradition can be seen from the trust of the people who make Olek-Olek Banjar a benchmark in starting to go to the fields to plant rice. The value of customs can be seen from Olek-Olek Banjar it will not be implemented without the result of a consensus from meeting of Datuk-Datuk Penghulu.
