Abstract

This research was conducted at the Pekanbaru Al-Kautsar Batik UMKM shop which is located in Pekanbaru. The aim of this research is to find out and analyze how marketing strategies can increase sales of Al-Kautsar Batik UMKM in Pekanbaru. The data analysis technique used in the research is qualitative descriptive analysis. Data analysis is the process of systematically searching and arranging data obtained from observations, interviews, field notes. Based on the results of the research carried out, it can be seen that the marketing strategy carried out by UMKM Batik Alkautsar Pekanbaru has fulfilled the elements of a 4P marketing strategy. Strategy in business is very necessary, starting from product or service pricing strategies, strategies for determining the right product, marketing strategies, and others. Based on the research that has been carried out, the researchers concluded that the 4P marketing strategy has been applied to the Batik Al Kautsar MSMEs in Pekanbaru. This marketing strategy focuses on product, price, promotion and sales location.
