Abstract

This study aims to prove the effect of internal cash flow, insider ownership, profitability, and investment opportunities on capital expenditure. From a population of 27 companies, 7 samples of food and beverage sub-sector companies were obtained which were listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2017- 2021 period. The sampling method used purposive sampling. The results of the study show that simultaneously internal cash flow, insider ownership, profitability, and investment opportunities have a positive and significant effect on capital expenditure. Partially, profitability has a positive and significant effect on capital expenditure, while internal cash flow, insider ownership and investment opportunities have no effect on capital expenditure in food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange.
