Abstract
The aim of this study was to determine the interaction effect of giving water hyacinth and legin bokashi on the growth and production of soybean plants. This research was carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Islamic University of Riau. The design used in this study was a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of two factors, the first factor was water hyacinth bokashi which consisted of 4 levels namely 0, 1.5, 3, 4.5 kg/plot and the second factor was legin consisting of 4 levels namely 0, 3, 6, and 9 g/kg of seed obtained 16 treatment combinations with 3 replications, so there were 48 experimental units. Parameters observed were plant height, number of effective root nodules, net assimilation rate, relative growth rate, flowering age and dry seed weight of the plants, and weight of 100 dry seeds. The data were analyzed statistically and continued with the BNJ test at the 5% level. The results showed that the interaction of water hyacinth and legin bokashi had a significant effect on all observation parameters. The best treatment for bokashi water hyacinth was 4.5 kg/plot and legin 9 g/kg seed. The main effect of water hyacinth bokashi has a significant effect on all observation parameters. The best treatment is 4.5 kg/plot. The main effect of legin has a significant effect on all observation parameters. Best treatment 9 g/kg seed.
