Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the interaction of catfish water and AB mix on acacia pre-nursery nurseries on PMK soil. This research was conducted at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Islamic University of Riau from March to June 2022. This study used a Completely Randomized Factorial Design consisting of 2 factors. The first factor was the concentration of catfish waste water which consisted of 4 treatment levels, namely 0 ml/liter of water, 100 ml/liter of water, 200 ml/liter of water, and 300 ml/liter of water. The second factor was the concentration of AB mix which consisted of 4 treatment levels namely, AB mix concentrations of 0 ppm, 750 ppm, 1250 ppm and 2250 ppm. Parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, relative growth rate, net assimilation rate, and root canopy ratio. The data were analyzed statistically and continued with the honest significant difference test (BNJ) at the 5% level. The results showed that the interaction effect of catfish waste water and AB mix had a significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, relative growth rate, net assimilation rate, and root canopy ratio. All parameters of acacia nursery observed in this study obtained the best results in the interaction of catfish wastewater treatment and AB mix. The catfish water waste had a significant effect on all observation parameters with a concentration of 300 ml/liter of water. AB mix nutrition has a significant effect on all observation parameters with the best AB mix concentration at a concentration of 2250 ppm.
