Abstract

DETERMINING THE INFLUENCE OF ASP IONS ON THE RESERVOIR LOW SALINITY WITH VARIATION OF INJECTION PARAMETERS IN THE SANDSTONE SJ FIELD Dimas Eko Priyatno 163210532 ABSTRACT The injection mechanism of ASP is based on reducing the Interfacial Tension (IFT) between the fluids and changing the wettability of the rock towards a more water wet state. The ASP method involves injection of surfactant, alkali, and polymer solutions with oil while the polymer will increase sweep efficiency. Many parameters can affect the chemical EOR process. However, the most important parameters are temperature, formation water salinity, sandstone type, oil viscosity, and formation permeability. The effectiveness of low salinity in sandstone formations has a significant impact in obtaining increased oil production, but conversely the use of low salinity for carbonate formations cannot increase the productivity of carbonate formations because the clay content in carbonate formations is less than that of sandstone formations. In this study, the authors wanted to conduct a simulation and monitoring analysis study to determine the effect of ASP ions on a low-salinity reservoir with various injection parameters in the sandstone field using these parameter scenarios 36 times. For the condition of the well to be tested is tertiary recovery, where oil is already difficult to produce, the Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) method must be carried out which uses chemicals such as Alkali, Surfactant, Polymer. Where the chemical components will be injected simultaneously (continue). The fluid components used are Sodium Carbonate as Alkali, Alkylbenzene Sulfonate (ABS) as Surfactant, Hydrolized Polyacrylamide (HPAM) as Polymer. Optimum results are obtained in scenario 20, where the recovery factor value is 72.120% ASP, Low Salinity, IFT, Sandstone, Alkylbenzene Sulfonate, Natrium Carbonate, Hydrolized Polyacrylamide.
