Abstract
Indonesia is a country that has quite a lot of oil and gas reserves. Until now, oil and gas are still one of the main sources of energy used by Indonesia. For this reason, in field A at GS X, a method of processing the formation water produced so that it can be used as water to be reinjected must comply with the quality standards set by government and a company. Injection water that does not comply with quality standards can cause various problems including scaling of pipes, decreased production quantities and increased pet costs. Therefore, to minimize the existing problems, it is necessary to treat the formation water produced by the water that will be discharged into the environment and the water that will be injected. Thus minimizing the negative impact on the environment. It is hoped that the disposal well process can solve the problem of residual produced water without having to dispose of waste into the surface environment and make the process of handling produced water more efficient. From this research, it was found that the amount of produced water needed for raw materials is only approximately 80 kbwpd and leaves 120 kbwpd of produced water that has been treated in GS "A".
