Abstract
EFFECT OF FEED FREQUENCY OF CHICKEN INTO INTESTINE PASTE ON THE GROWTH OF FISH SEED PALM (Kryptopterus lais)” under the guidance of Dr. Ir. H. Rosyadi, M.Sc. This research was conducted at the Fish Seed Center (BBI), Faculty of Agriculture, Islamic University of Riau from January 2023 to February 2023 starting from research preparation to research completion. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the frequency of feeding chicken intestinal paste on the survival and growth of jamai fish fry. The material used is jamis fish seed and the raw material for feed is chicken intestine flour. The method used in this study was a completely randomized design using 5 treatments and 3 replications, namely P1 (frequency of feeding 2 times), P2 (frequency of feeding 3 times), P3 (frequency of feeding 4 times), P4 (frequency of feeding feed 5 times) and P5 (frequency of feeding 6 times). From the parameters that have been measured, the best results in this study were the frequency of feeding 4 times, which resulted in a survival rate of 76.67%, weight growth of 0.12 g, growth in length of 1.14 cm, daily growth rate of 0.57 %, feed conversion 1: 2.48 and feed efficiency value of 47.57%.
