Abstract

THE EFFECT OF FEEDING CHICKEN INTESTINAL PASTE WITH DIFFERENT DOSAGE PERCENTAGES ON THE SURVIVAL AND GROWTH OF BAUNG FISH FRY (Hemibagrus nemurus)” under the guidance of Dr. Ir. H. Rosyadi, M.Sc. This research was conducted for 21 days starting in January 2023 at the Laboratory of Microalgae and Fish Nutrition, Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Pekanbaru. This study aims to determine the effect of feeding chicken intestinal paste with different percentages on the survival and growth of baung fish (H. nemurus) fry. The method used is Complete Randomized Design (RAL) 5 treatments 3 repeats, namely P1 treatment = feeding chicken intestinal paste 5% body weight, P2 = 10%, P3 = 15%, P4 = 20% and P5 = 25%. The baung fish used was 21 days old weighing 0.22-0.25 gr/head with a length of 2.59-2.89 cm/head. The seeds were obtained from the Fish Seed Center (BBI) of the Integrated Agricultural Unit of Riau Islamic University, Jalan Kasang Kulim, Binoculars of Kubang Raya village, Siak Hulu Kampar District. From the results of the study, the highest survival rate in P4 treatment was 88.10% and the lowest in P1 was 57.14%. The highest absolute weight growth was found in the P4 treatment of 0.18 gr and the lowest of 0.10 gr. The absolute length growth was highest in P4 treatment at 1.02 cm and lowest at 0.76 cm. The highest daily weight growth rate of P4 treatment was 0.87% and the lowest was 0.45%. The best feed conversion value is P1 treatment of 3.03 feed efficiency of 33.30%. Water quality parameters are temperature 25-30oC, pH 5.47-7.42, dissolved oxygen 5.5-6.7 mg / L and Ammonia 0.39-2.52 mg / L.
