Abstract

ABSTRACT Yafi Arya Nugraha, 2023. The Relationship Between Motivation and Learning Outcomes for Physical Education, Sports and Health at Grade IX Students of SMP Negeri 21 Pekanbaru The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between motivation and learning outcomes for physical education, sports and health at grade IX students of SMP Negeri 21 Pekanbaru. The type of this research is correlation. The sample in this study was 60 students. The research instrument used was a Likert scale or questionnaire and the value of student learning outcomes. The data analysis technique used is to calculate the correlation of motivation on learning outcomes. Based on the results of the research, the conclusions in this study were obtained: There is a relationship between motivation and learning outcomes for physical education, sports and health at grade IX students of SMP Negeri 21 Pekanbaru or in the medium category with a value of rcount = 0.483 > rtable = 0.254.
