Abstract

In the MR field, a waterflood project was carried out in 1993 and until now it still uses propulsion from waterflood with an irregular distribution pattern. The purpose of conducting an evaluation on the MR field is to determine the success rate of the waterflood project by looking at the value of the recovery factor so that future productivity of the MR field is known, the amount of oil produced and the remaining reserves that can still be extracted from the MR field so that the results will It is also known whether the MR field can be developed after reaching the economic limit with the waterflood project. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the MR field recovery factor value was 83.7%, with a recovery factor value of that size, it can be said that the water injection project was successful. The research results have answered that the MR-01 production well started in 1993 and reached the economic limit in June 2027 with a cumulative oil of 3,793,431 bbl. The MR-02 production well began producing in 1993 until it reached the economic limit in December 2027 with a cumulative oil of 5,563,528 bbl. Whereas the MR-03 well began producing in 1993 until it reached the economic limit in September 2022, with a cumulative oil of 1,482,078. The production well MR-04 began producing in 1993 until it reached the economic limit in December 2033 with a cumulative total of 1,492,466 bbl of oil. Whereas the production well MR-05 began producing in 1993 until it reached the economic limit in December 2032 with a cumulative total of 7,068,411 bbl of oil. The MR-06 well started producing in 1993 until it reached the economic limit in December 2027 with a cumulative oil obtained of 1,252,581 bbl.
