Abstract

Khairunnisa Al Ahnani, 2023. The Influence of Traditional Games on Children's Motoric Development. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of traditional games on children's motor development. The sample of this study were all 14 grade 3 male students at SDN 011 Kabun. The type of this research is quasiexperimental or called quasi-experimental. The research instrument used for this study was the TGMD (Test of Gross Motor Development) test. This test tested 12 basic movement skills which were divided into two subtests, namely the locomotor test and the object control test. The data analysis technique used in this study is the T test to calculate the level of significance between each variable. Based on the results of the study, it showed that traditional games had a good influence and improvement on children's motor skills with a percentage increase of 18.4% and showed significant results by proving that tcount was greater than ttable. Therefore, traditional games can be a suitable choice for children's motor development.
