Abstract

ABSTRACT AFIS SETIAWAN (2022) The Effect of The Training Program Using Barriers on The Shooting Game Abilities of Petanque Athletes The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of training using barriers on the results of the Petanque shooting game in UIR UKM athletes. This research is an experimental research using a test instrument. There are two types of tests in this study, namely pre-test and post-test. After the researchers gave the pretest, the researchers gave treatment to the athletes by providing shooting exercises using barriers using ropes, tires and paralons. The purpose of this treatment is to obtain maximum post-test results. Based on the calculation results, there is an increase in the average score on the pre-test and post-test (8.4 on the pre-test and 12.2 on the post-test). From the results of hypothesis testing it can be seen that the value of t count (5.92) is greater than t table (2.160). So it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the training program using barriers on the shooting game abilities of petanque athletes.
