Abstract

ABSTRACT MEI NGANGA ANIPO (2023) The Contribution Of Reaction Speed And Limb Muscle Power To 100 Meter Sprint Results This study aims to determine the contribution of reaction speed and leg muscle power to the results of the 100 meter sprint. This type of research is correlation research. The sample of this research is 22 people. Researchers use research instruments on each variable, namely; using a ruler test on reaction speed variables, using a standing board jump test on leg muscle explosive power, and using sprint running to measure the ability to sprint 100 meters. Based on the results of the research that has been done, the r value for each variable is greater than the r table, so it can be concluded that: There is a significant contribution / contribution to the reaction speed of the 100 meter sprint. There is a significant contribution/contribution to leg muscle power to the 100 meter sprint and there is a significant contribution/contribution to the reaction speed and leg muscle power to the 100 meter sprint.
