Abstract

Reservoir pressure (Pr) and flowing bottom well pressure (Pwf) will affect the amount of fluid produced. The greater the Pr and Pwf of the well, the greater the fluid that can be produced and vice versa. Pr and Pwf wells can be related to the concept of Productivity Index (PI) or an index that states the ability of the well to produce fluid. PI can also determine the maximum production capability of a well when the bottom flow pressure of the well is equal to zero or what is called Absolute Open Flow (AOF). A large AOF means that the well's ability to produce fluid is also large. So that the level of trust (reliability) of a well in producing large fluids is also high. In the design of the completion of a well, sometimes the well has a completion in the form of single or commingle completion. Single completion means that only one zone is produced while commingle completion is from many zones. The determination of Pr and Pwf in single and commingle completion is different. In single completion, Pr and Pwf are determined at the reference depth in the form of the top perforation or the top depth of the perforation. Meanwhile, commingle completion is determined based on the mid perforation obtained by dividing the top perforation and bottom perforation. Currently, the Juno well is completed in the form of a commingle but the reference used is in the form of top perforation, causing the current well's ability to not match the actual situation and resulting in errors in pump design, especially ESP so that maximum well productivity is not achieved. So in this study, it will be evaluated by comparing the production when the reference used is top perforation and mid perforation.
