Abstract

ABSTRACT EFFORTS TO IMPROVE PASSING VOLLEYBALL SKILLS THROUGH PLAY METHODS AT AL-JAMI'ATUL HUSNA MTS STUDENTS. This study aims to determine the improvement of the basic technique of passing under volleyball through the playing method in MTS Al-Jami'atul Husna students. This type of research uses the type of PTK research (classroom action research). The subjects in this study were all 19 students of class IX MTS Al-Jami'atul Husna. The initial data of the first cycle of the volleyball bottom passing test through the playing method showed that only 58% of students achieved the KKM, namely 11 students who completed and 42%, namely 8 students who did not complete. In the second cycle, the volleyball underpass test through the playing method increased by 90% as many as 17 students who completed KKM, and 10%, namely students who did not complete as many as 2 students. From the results of this study obtained in cycle I and cycle II, it can be concluded that the game of volleyball using the playing method is very appropriate and successfully used to improve the lower passing abilities of class IX MTs AL-Jami'atul Husna Sekijang.
