Abstract
The aim of this study was to determine the effect of both interaction and main application of bokashi swallow droppings and Gandasil B fertilizer on the growth and production of Edamame soybeans. This research was carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Islamic University of Riau, carried out for 6 months from January to June 2022. This study used a factorial Completely Randomized Design consisting of two factors. The first factor was the dose of bokashi swallow droppings which consisted of 4 treatment levels, namely: 0, 0.6, 1.2, and 1.8 kg per plot. The second factor was the dose of Gandasil B which consisted of 4 treatment levels, namely: 0, 2, 4 and 6 g per liter of water. Each treatment consisted of 3 replications so that there were 48 experimental units. Parameters observed were plant height, average relative growth rate, flowering age, number of effective root nodules, number of fully filled pods, weight of pods per plant, weight of dry seeds per plant and weight of 100 seeds. The experimental data were analyzed for variance and continued with the honest significant difference test (BNJ) at the 5% level. The results showed that the interaction effect of swallow droppings bokashi and Gandasil B was significant on plant height parameters, average retalive growth rate, flowering age, number of effective root nodules, number of fully filled pods, weight of pods planted, weight of dry seeds planted, weight of 100 seeds with the best treatment found at a dose of swallow droppings bokashi 1.8 kg per plot and a dose of Gandasil B 6 g per liter. The main effect of swallow droppings bokashi was significant on all observation parameters with the best treatment of swallow droppings bokashi dose of 1.8 kg per plot. The main effect of Gandasil B fertilizer was significant on all parameters, with the best treatment being the dose of Gandasil B 6 g per liter.
