Abstract

ABSTRACT Fahmi Ardian, 2023. The Contribution of Limb Muscle Explosive Power and Eye-Foot Coordination to Shooting Ability in the MAN 2 Pekanbaru Football Team Game. The purpose of this research was to determine the contribution of leg muscle explosive power and eye-foot coordination to shooting ability in the MAN 2 Pekanbaru football team game. The type of this research is multiple correlation, namely calculating the level of relationship between several different variables. The population in this research was the MAN 2 Pekanbaru football team, consisting of 13 people. The sample in this research was the MAN 2 Pekanbaru football team with 13 people. The research instrument used was the leg muscle explosive power test with a standing broadjump, eye-foot coordination test and shooting ability test. The data analysis technique used is the multiple correlation value test. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that 1) There is a contribution of leg muscle explosive power to the ability to shoot football on the MAN 2 Pekanbaru football team of 64.96% with rcount = 0.806 > rtable = 0.553, 2) There is a coordination contribution eye - foot on the ability to shoot football on the MAN 2 Pekanbaru football team by 39.06% with a value of rcount = 0.625 > rtable = 0.553, 3) There is a contribution of leg muscle explosive power and eye-foot coordination to the ability to shoot football on the MAN 2 football team Pekanbaru is 68.23% with rcount = 0.826 > rtable = 0.553.
