Abstract

ABSTRACT Rudy Sinto Dwi Jaya, 2023. Contribution of Arm Muscle Strength and Eye and Hand Coordination to the Result of Backhand Overhead Lob in PB Angkasa Badminton Players. The purpose of this research was to determine the contribution of arm muscle strength and hand-eye coordination to the backhand overhead lob results of PB Angkasa badminton players. The type of this research is multiple correlation. The population and sample in this study were PB Angkasa Badminton Players, totaling 12 people. The research instruments used were the push-up test for 1 minute, the hand-eye coordination test and the backhand overhead lob badminton test. The data analysis technique used is the multiple correlation value test. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be interpreted that: (1) There is a contribution of arm muscle strength to the results of the backhand overhead lob of PB Angkasa badminton players by 46.65%, with a value of rcount = 0.683 > rtable = 0.576 (2) There is a contribution eyes and hands on the results of the backhand overhead lob of PB Angkasa badminton players by 44.09%. with a value of rcount = 0.643 > rtable = 0.576 (3) There is a contribution of arm muscle strength and eye and hand coordination to the results of the backhand overhead lob of PB Angkasa badminton players by 53.88%, with a value of rcount = 0.734 > rtable = 0.576.
