Abstract

ABSTRACT Nofriadi, 2023. The Contribution of Arm Muscle Strength to Volleyball Underpassing Skills in Extracurricular Students at SMPN 6 Minas. The purpose of this research was to determine the contribution of arm muscle strength and hand-eye coordination to volleyball underhand passing skills in extracurricular students at SMPN 6 Minas. The type of this research is correlation. The population and sample in this study were 17 extracurricular students at SMPN 6 Minas. The research instrument used was the push up test, and the volleyball underhand passing skill test. The data analysis technique used is the correlation value test. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that based on the results of data analysis and hypothesis testing, it can be concluded that: There is a contribution of arm muscle strength to volleyball underhand passing skills for extracurricular students at SMPN 6 Minas by 25.30% with rcount= 0,503 > rtable = 0,482.
