Abstract

The aims of this study were: to determine the effect of the interaction between swallow droppings and Gandasil B on the growth and production of cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.). 113. KM 11 Marpoyan Simpang Tiga Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru. This research was carried out for 4 months starting from July 2021 to October 2021 (Appendix 1). This research uses a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD), consisting of 2 factors. The first factor was swallow droppings (K) which consisted of 4 levels, namely: 0, 0.75, 1.5 and 2.25 kg/plot. The second factor is Gandasil B (B) which consists of 4 levels, namely: 0, 3, 6 and 9 g/l water. Obtained 16 treatment combinations. Each treatment combination consisted of 3 replications so that 48 experimental units were obtained. Each plot consisted of 4 plants and 2 plants as observation samples, so a total of 192 plants. Parameters observed were flowering age, harvest age, number of fruit per plant, fruit weight per plant, fruit weight per fruit, fruit length and number of remaining fruits. From the observations, each treatment was statistically analyzed using analysis of variance (Anova). If the calculated F is greater than the F table, then it is continued with a further test of honest real difference (BNJ) at the level of 5%. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that: The interaction of swallow dung bokashi fertilizer and gandasil B had a significant effect on all observation parameters. The best treatment dose of bokashi fertilizer was 2.25 kg/plot and gandasil B was 9 g/l of water. The main effect of swallow dung bokashi fertilizer dose was real on all observation parameters. The best treatment was a dose of 2.25 kg/plot. The main effect of the dose of gandasil B was significant on all observation parameters, where the best treatment was a dose of 9 g/l water
