Abstract
Soil is a construction material that is directly available in the field. Dams, landfills, river embankments, embankments for highways that use soil as a construction material. Soil conditions that often become obstacles such as clay, peat, and silt and these soil conditions do not always meet the physical and technical quality requirements. Therefore it is necessary to improve the properties of this soil which is called soil stabilization (Bowles, 1986 in Iswahyudi, 2011). The purpose of this study itself is to determine the characteristic value of the original soil and the immersion CBR ratio, as well as to determine the comparison of the immersion CBR value of soil stabilized using waste concrete. And also determine the comparison of the CBR value of stabilized soil curing using waste concrete. The results of this study itself to get the values of the strength of the carrying capacity of the original clay soil and those that will be stabilized with a mixture of waste concrete from this study will also get the values of the right composition in mixing clay soil using additional waste concrete mixture so that it will be able to know and see how far the influence of stabilization on the optimum moisture content (OMC) and maximum dry unit weight (?d mak). And also can be used for all related agencies. As additional material to be used as a comparison or guide in solving problems that will be faced by damage to road construction.
