Abstract

Settlement in building is a common thing that occurs due to the compressive nature of the soil due to the load on it. However, excessive settlement or exceeding the allowable settlement can cause structural damage to the building. The purpose of this study was to determine the magnitude of the settlement of single and group pile foundations, as well as to calculate the settlement that occurs according to a permit settlement or not, and to compare the settlement results with the Loading Test and see which method is the most effective. The analytical method used is a quantitative method of collecting secondary data in the form of N-SPT data, image structures and loading. This study recalculates structural loads based on SNI 1726-2019, then calculates the settlement of single and group piles using the Vesic and Mayerhof methods for the Finite Element method using Plaxis 2D. The results of this study show a comparison of settlement of pile foundations based on N-SPT data. For the settlement of the single pile foundation point P67 using the analytical method for the Vesic method of 21.279 mm and the Mayerhof method of 7.526 mm, as well as MEH 2D for P.67 of 7.03 mm. These results indicate that the settlement by the analytical method and MEH 2D fulfills the required settlement. permitted, MEH 2D has a value that is almost close to the decrease in the Loading test OF 4,63 mm. The group pile settlement that occurs the foundation point for the Vesic Merthod is 57,255 mm and the Mayerhof method is 19,68 mm, and MEH 2D IS 7,49 mm.
