Abstract

Productivity is one of the fundamental factors that influence the performance of competitive abilities in the construction industry. Productivity implies a comparison between the results achieved by the role of labor per unit time. In other words, productivity has a very significant role in determining whether a construction job will be completed in accordance with the time, cost, technical specifications that have been planned or not. This research was carried out on the bricklaying work of type 36 housing at the Andika Berkah Residence Jl. Purwosari, Pandau Jaya, Kec. Siak Hulu, Kampar Regency, Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study is to determine the cycle time and to determine the level of labor productivity in bricklaying work. The method used is the time study method with a productivity rating approach. The productivity rating approach is to record the working time of the workforce using video. There are three types of activity time obtained in the field, namely effective time, contribution time and ineffective time. From the data analysis that has been done, it can be seen that the level of productivity (LUR) in bricklaying work from 7 (seven) working days, all are more than 50%. This indicates that labor productivity in this job is productive and satisfying. The LUR value of the top ranking is the sixth day with a value of 86%, while the overall LUR average is 64.24%.
