Abstract

The success history injection nanofluids in laboratorium scale (coreflooding) make interested in injection field trial. The recovery oil using nanofluids influenced various of parameters such a concentration nano, particle size, injection rate and slug size. The purpose this research to determine best scenario to get optimal concentration and injection rate let to implement in field x. Modelling basecase field use CMG STARS simulator with input data reservoir fluids, reservoir characteristic and injection fluids. There are several scenarios that will plan for injecting in field x with using concentration (0,01 wt%, 0,05 wt% dan 0,1 wt%) slug size 0.3 PV and rate injection (1600 bbl/day, 2300 bbl/day and 3000 bbl/day) as sensitivity parameter. The result of scenario running will be compared with waterflooding. Based on simulation has been done that the higher concentration will yield high recovery oil because the role nano reduce interfactiol tension. The other high concentration will impact to permeability imparment. On injection nanofluids recommend concentration are 0,05% and rate injection 3000 bbl/day with volume injection 0.3PV with recovery factor 79.31%.
