Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine students' perceptions of the implementation of biology learning in class X MIA at SMA Negeri 1 Rokan IV Koto for the 2022/2023 Academic Year. This research is a quantitative research. The method used in this study is a survey method. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires, interviews, documentation. Data collection for this research was carried out in October 2022. There were 46 samples in this study, taken from class X MIA students at SMA Negeri 1 Rokan IV Koto. Sampling using saturated samples (saturated sampling). The distributed questionnaire consisted of 29 question items. Based on data from SMA Negeri 1 Rokan IV Koto for the 2022/2023 Academic Year, which was processed, it was found that the highest percentage was in the indicator of carrying out assessment and evaluation of the process and learning outcomes, obtaining a percentage of 95.7% in the very good category and the indicator utilizing the results of the assessment and evaluation for interest in learning obtained a percentage of 65.05% with a good enough category. It can be concluded that the overall average student perception of the implementation of biology learning in Class X MIA at SMA Negeri 1 Rokan IV Koto for the 2022/2023 academic year is in the good category with a percentage of 85.88%.
