Abstract
Self-control and group conformity will reduce the level of hedonism in employees because these two factors will have an impact on the level of employee hedonism. Employees will suppress interest in a hedonistic lifestyle if they have good self-control and group conformity. The research objective was to determine the relationship between self-control and conformity with the hedonism tendency of bank employees. The method used in this study is the correlational quantitative method. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and asking questions were then used as quantitative scores and sampling, with saturated samples totaling 82 respondents. Testing the research instrument uses a validity test, reliability test, normality test, linearity test, and correlation test in order to get research results. The results of the study show that there is a significant positive relationship between self-control, group conformity, and a hedonistic lifestyle. This means that the higher the self-control and group conformity, the lower the hedonistic lifestyle. As for the effective contribution of self-control variables, group conformity with the dependent variable hedonism lifestyle of 0.609 (60.9%) and 39.1% is determined by other variables not observed in this study.
