Abstract

DEVELOPMENT OF LEARNING DEVICES WITH PROBLEM BASED LEARNING (PBL) APPROACH ON COMPARISON MATERIALS FORSTUDENTS OF CLASS VII JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL Betris Lamela Sari NPM.186410903 Thesis of Mathematics Education Study Program. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. Islamic University of Riau. Supervisor is Dr. Hj. Zetriuslita S.Pd., M.Si ABSTRACT This study aims to produce a PBL model mathematics learning tool in comparative material for class VII SMPN 3 Inuman that has been tested as valid, practical, and effective. The development model used is ADDIE. Data collection techniques used are; validation from 2 lecturers and 1 math teacher, student response questionnaire and pretest and posttest results. Data collection instruments were in the form of syllabus validation sheets, lesson plans validation sheets, LKPD validation sheets, student response questionnaire sheets, pretest and posttest question sheets. The data analysis technique used is validation data analysis, practicality, and effectiveness. From the results of the syllabus validation, an average of 91.66% with the Guttman scale was categorized as very valid. The lesson plan validation results obtained an average of 96.66% with the Guttman scale categorized as very valid. LKPD validation results obtained an average of 81.33% with a Likert scale categorized as quite valid. The results of the student response questionnaire obtained an average of 85.26% categorized as very practical. The average N-Gain Score result is 80% with high criteria and is categorized as effective. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the development of learning tools for the PBL model produces learning tools that are valid, practical, and effective. So that the learning device is feasible to used.
