Abstract

The construction project for the Laboratory Center building at Bangkinang Hospital, Kab. Kampar, must be in accordance with its function, and meet the requirements of safety, health, comfort, convenience and efficient use of resources. The development project will not run well if the role of the workforce as human resources does not play an active role and has high performance. Because the success of a construction project is supported by the performance of its workforce. With the implementation of an occupational safety and health program in construction projects, workers will feel more secure in their safety and can improve their performance The research approach used in this study is a quantitative approach with interview techniques, observation, and distributing questionnaires which were distributed to 40 workers. This study will observe the effect of the application of occupational safety and health (K3) programs on the productivity of workers in the construction of the Bangkinang Hospital Center Laboratory Building in Kampar Regency. Based on the research results, the regression equation Y = 5.879 + 0.516 X shows that Occupational Safety and Health has an influence of 51.6% on work productivity while the remaining 48.6%, work productivity is influenced by occupational safety and health.Occupational Health and Safety, Productivity, Linear Regression
