Abstract

The main objectives of project management in the implementation of construction projects are three things, namely cost, quality and time. The project is said to be successfully implemented if it can be completed in accordance with the targets that have been set. The purpose of this study is to determine the analysis of the performance of the time and cost of project implementation and find out what the estimated time and final cost of the project using the Earned Value Concept in the Duri-Kandis-Sp.Palas-Siak II (Pekanbaru) Road Preservation Project is. This research uses quantitative methods. Earned Value Concept is a method that combines elements of schedule, cost, and work productivity to calculate estimated costs and the time it takes until the project is completed, so that the relationship between the implementation performance that has been achieved and the initial planning can be known. The results of time and cost performance analysis using the Earned Value Concept in the Duri-Kandis-Sp.Palas-Siak II (Pekanbaru) Road Preservation Project showed that in the 1st to 4th month, and the 7th month, the SPI value of >1 meant that the performance of the project implementation time was faster than planning. Meanwhile, in the 5th month, 6th month, and 8th month, the SPI value of <1 means that the performance of the project implementation time is slower than planned. Meanwhile, the CPI value in the 1st to 8th month is >1 meaning that the actual cost of completing the work is less than the planned cost budget. The results of the project final time estimate (SEAC) obtained 10 months 3 weeks 3 days mean that the estimated final project time does not exceed the planning time of 11 month 1 week even though the results of the implementation performance analysis have decreased. The estimated final cost of the project (BEAC) was obtained at Rp. 59,061,443,744, meaning that the estimated final cost of the project did not exceed the planned cost of Rp. 65,488,012,000 or it is estimated that the project will not experience a final cost overrun with an efficiency factor of Rp. 6,426,568,256.00.
