Abstract

The purpose in this research examined to know the effectiveness of using quiescent picture media in improving students’ class VI Arabic vocabulary mastery at Islamic-integrated elementary school Bunayya Pekanbaru. This research was quantitative research with experimental type. The population in this research took 60 students and 30 students as sampling. Data collection technique used test and documentation. Research finding showed that: 1) based on wilconox test result, it got significant score in 0.000 where this score was smaller than alpha <0.05. It meant that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted and it explained that quiescent picture media could improve students’ class VI Arabic vocabulary mastery at Islamic-integrated elementary school Bunayya Pekanbaru. 2) pre-test result 40.22 meanwhile post-test result 83.78, and it showed enough significant improvement, and it could concluded that quiescent picture media effected on students’ class VI Arabic vocabulary mastery at Islamic-integrated elementary school Bunayya Pekanbaru.
