Abstract

PAI TEACHER'S EFFORTS IN FORMING A Sense of UKHUWAH WATHANIYAH AT SMA NEGERI 10 PEKANBARU TENGKU FAHIRA RISK AINI 182410292 This research is motivated by the problem of building a sense of ukhuwa wathaniyah for students at SMAN 10 Pekanbaru with a focus on the problem of how to build a sense of ukhuwah wathaniyah that needs to be grown from an early age, the role and function of religious education within the scope of schools, both from the early childhood level to the college level as a system value as a reference in interaction. It is with Islamic religious education that ukhuwah wathoniyah can occur because Islam is a religion that teaches tolerance even when the Islamic caliphate rules the world there have never been cases of oppression against other religions, even giving guarantees for other religions to worship. Therefore Islamic Religious Education in schools is expected to be able to form personal piety and at the same time social piety so as to create ukhuwah wathaniyah. This research approach is descriptive qualitative, namely research that describes information data based on facts (facts) obtained in the field. Qualitative descriptive in this study is used to develop theories that are built from data obtained in the field. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis, while this type of research includes field research, namely explaining and describing conditions and phenomena that are clearer about the situation that occurs. With the above problems, Islamic Religious Education teachers have an important role to play in fostering, directing and providing motivation related to inter-religious tolerance to students. With the aim that they do not deviate from attitudes that have no tolerance between differences in beliefs and the creation of inter-religious harmony. Pekanbaru 10 Public High School.
