Abstract

THE ROLE OF ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS EDUCATION TEACHER IN ESTABLISHING STUDENTS' STUDENTS OF RIMBA MELINTANG 1 JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL, ROKAN HILIR DISTRICT BY: DONI MELIYAWAN 182410258 Role is a dynamic aspect in a position (status) for something. If a person performs his rights and obligations according to his position, then he is carrying out a role. The role is explained as a business (requirement) in a way, it can also be meant by an activity that is carried out permanently, planned and directed to keep things from expanding or arising. So it can be concluded that the role is an effort made by each individual for the realization of an activity that has been planned and directed. This study aims to find out how the role and abilities of Islamic religious education teachers play in shaping the morals of students at SMP Negeri 1 Rimba Melintang, Rokan Hilir district. The informant of this study was an Islamic religious education teacher at SMP Negeri 1 Rimba Melintang, Rokan Hilir Regency, namely Mrs. Safitri, S.Pd. While the object in this study is the formation of morals. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, interviews, and documentation. While the data analysis technique uses qualitative data analysis. Data analysis was obtained from observations and interviews conducted directly by researchers at SMP Negeri 1 Rimba Melintang Rokan Hilir. The results of this study are that in forming the morals of student teachers using the uswatun hasanah method, the same as the teachings of Rasulullah SAW, always provide motivational encouragement to improve morals.
