Abstract

THE IMPLEMENTATION OF UMMI METHOD ON STUDENTS’ AL-QUR’AN RECITATION FLUENCY AT JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL 1 TAPUNG HULU KAMPAR REGENCY MINTAITO HARAHAP 182410254 This research was a quantitative research with quasi-experimental approach. The purpose in this research examined to know the use of Ummi method gave influence on students’ Al-Qur’an recitation fluency in Islamic education lesson at Junior High School 1 Tapung Hulu. This design was used suitable with final design posttest control group. This design compared experimental group with control group. The population in this research was two classes in class VIII at Junior High School 1 Taping Hulu in 63 students, where class VIII A as experimental class and class VIII B as control class. The information finding used test and documentation. This research used pre-test and post-test in form of recite Al-Qur’an Surah Al- Baqarah 6-10 verses. This research consisted of two variables, X (Ummi method) and Y (Al- Qur’an recitation fluency). In knowing research finding used t test formula. Based on data computation, there was any significant influence between the implementation of ummi method in Al-Qur’an recitation on students at Junior High School 1 Tapung Hulu. When t counted (to) = 4.35 was bigger than t table (tt), 5% = 2.00 or significant level 1% = 2.65 or 2.00 < 4.35 > 2.65.The Implementation of Ummi Method, Students’ Fluency in Al-Qur’an Recitation
