Abstract

Analysis of Interpersonal Communication Used by Parents at Giving Limitation on Gadget Usage Children Oki Fernando 1891100115 This study aims to find out how the interpersonal communication of parents and children in providing limitations or restrictions on the use of gadgets to children, because it is very unfortunate if parents do not provide restrictions on the use of gadgets to children. And this study uses qualitative methods aimed at gaining an understanding of the general nature of interview and documentation data collection techniques. This research included 4 correspondents, namely a teacher, employee, midwife, and a publicist, and the results of this study can be seen that the role of parents in providing boundaries and good ways of communication is very influential on children, the existence of parents in children living their daily lives is very necessary, because children need someone who guides them in living life and especially also in using gadgets, Parents should take a big part in this gadget problem. And by effectively communicating interpersonally to the child, making the child an obedient child and never giving a rebuttal to their parents when given restrictions on using gadgets, they obey what their parents have commanded.
