Abstract

The obvious phenomenon that happens is the negative behaviors of students. The aim of this study is to investigate the influence of the intensive participation in religious activities on students? positive behaviors at State Madrasah Aliyah 1 Rokan Hilir with a total sample of 71 students. The sampling method used is proportionate startified random sampling. The data collection technique of the study is the questionaires analized by the Likert scale with the questions for the religious activities totaling 8 items and the students? positive behaviors totaling 7 items. The data analysis technique of the study is the simple linear regression. The results of the study show that there is a significant and positive influence of the intensive participation in religious activities on students? positive behaviors at State Madrasah Aliyah 1 Rokan Hilir. It means that the more intensive of students? participation in religious activities, the more positive of students? behaviors at State Madrasah Aliyah 1 Rokan Hilir, and vice versa.
