Abstract

The study in this thesis is about the Strategies for Islamic Education learning at Rungarun Patana School Yala (Southern Thailand). A strategy is a very influential component in the world of education, especially in the learning process of Islamic education. The strategy for Islamic education learning is one of the efforts to apply the values of Islamic teachings that exist in each material to be learned, understood and practiced by students in everyday life because the strategy is very important in learning activities to achieve the expected goals. This study is focused on: (1) How are the Islamic Education learning activities carried out at Rungarun Patana School Yala (Southern Thailand) (2) How are the Islamic Education learning strategies implemented at Rungarun Patana School Yala (Southern Thailand). This is a qualitative study with a case study approach.The data collection techniques of the study areobservation, interview and documentation. The population of the study is all teachers of Islamic education at Rungarun Patana School Yala (Southern Thailand) as many as 4 (four) people. The study show that the learning strategies implemented are cooperative learning strategies, inquiry, contextual learning strategies (CTL) and the teaching methods used arelecture method, experimental method, diachronic method, discussion method and question and answer methodcombined with various activities, actively involved in various learning activities and independently to seek information or solve problems both in project-based and innovative forms.
