Abstract

Sindi Ayu Satya : The Influence of Self-Confident on Students’ Learning Interest in Fiqih Lesson at Islamic Junior High School Kota Intan Kunto Darussalam Sub-district Rokan Hulu Regency. The problem in this research as follows: there were some students did not want to follow ibadah practicing material, there were some students did not care to teacher in Fiqih lesson activity. There were some students did not interest in Fiqih lesson, there were some students did not participate in shalat practicing. The formulation of the problem questioned how was the influence of self-confident on students’ learning interest in fiqih lesson at Islamic Junior High School Kota Intan Kunto Darussalam Sub-district Rokan Hulu Regency? The purpose in this research examined to know the influence of self-confident on students’ class VIII learning interest in Fiqih Lesson at Islamic Junior High School Kota Intan Kunto Darussalam Sub-district Rokan Hulu Regency. This research was quantitative with correlational approach. The population was all students at Islamic Junior High School Kota Intan Kunto Darussalam Sub-district Rokan Hulu Regency in 274 students. The sampling used slovin formula in Riduwan with precision 10%, and it got sample in 163 students. The instrument used in this research consisted of questionnaire. Data analysis used simple correlationby using SPSS program. Based on research finding, it could be concluded that: 1) students self-confident at Islamic Junior High School Kota Intan Kunto Darussalam Sub-district Rokan Hulu Regency was got percentage in 68.59% with “good” category. 2) students’ learning interest at Islamic Junior High School Kota Intan Kunto Darussalam Sub-district Rokan Hulu Regency was got percentage in 72.24% with “good” category. 3) there was any significant influence of self-confident on students’ learning interest in fiqih lesson at Islamic Junior High School Kota Intan Kunto Darussalam Sub-district Rokan Hulu Regency with correlation level in 0.520 in interval 0.400-0.599 with “moderate” category. Tt meant that there was any moderate relationship between self-confidents on students’ learning interest. Meanwhile t counted (7.717) > ttable (1.694) and sig (0.000) < 0.05. It meant that self-confident significant influenced on students learning interest in fiqih lesson at Islamic Junior High School Kota Intan Kunto Darussalam Sub-district Rokan Hulu Regency.
