Abstract

Companies and communities have a very close relationship. Implementation of CSR in Indonesia raises various problems. Problems that occur such as misunderstandings from companies and society regarding CSR itself. Companies and communities are more likely to choose CSR implementation that is philanthropic in nature, meaning that CSR is carried out through donations of funds or facilities that last only temporarily. In addition, another problem is the lack of clarity in regulations regarding CSR. The main problem of the research is How is the Implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in PT PLN Nusantara Power UBJOM PLTU Tenayan Raya According to Law Number 40 of 2007 concerning Limited Liability Companies in Tenayan Raya District, Pekanbaru, and What are the Constraints of PT PLN Nusantara Power UBJOM PLTU Tenayan Raya in implementing the Company's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The research method is of the type of legal research observational research or survey. While its nature is descriptive, namely where the author describes in detail and clearly the problems to be studied. The results of the study show that the Implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the PT PLN Nusantara Power UBJOM PLTU Tenayan Raya Environment According to Law Number 40 of 2007 concerning Limited Liability Companies in Tenayan Raya District, Pekanbaru is still not effective because not all people have received CSR, even though the company has provided CSR in the form of empowerment programs such as: Earthworm Cultivation, capacity building such as: CSR Activities Collaboration with Kelurahan Industries Training on Waste Recycling in the Context of Creating Environmental Education Villages, infrastructure and charity such as: CSR Assistance MTQ Activities at Kelurahan Level, and Obstacles of PT PLN Nusantara Power UBJOM PLTU Tenayan Raya in Implementing the Company's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) work is the lack of community work ethic because the community wants something that is instant, the community does not know the regulations in terms of utilization and application of funds C SR so that people only think companies must issue CSR funds at any time such as mass organizations asking for funds, companies provide CSR in the form of community empowerment but the community does not yet have supporting technology in terms of the tools used to produce cultivation media.Implementation, Corporate Social Responsibility and PT PLN Nusantara Power PLTU Tenayan Raya
