Abstract

The concept of tazkiyatun nafs is very meaningful for human survival. A muslim employee has a different view of work, not just working, receiving a salary or just prestige, but the characteristic of a muslim is the productivity of his work based on the spirit of tawhid, responsibility as a servant of Allah SWT. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to find out how the phenomenology of tazkiyatun nafs on employees. Respondents this study amounted to 3 (three) people who worked at the Head Office of PT Perkebunan Nusantara V, Pekanbaru city. This research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative method by conducting interviews and using a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis used is coding (coding). The results of this study indicate that tazkiyatun nafs plays an important role in human life, including in the world of work. Specifically on the 6th component, tazkiyah of remembrance, worship, repentance, patience, muhasabah and prayer.
