Abstract

The aims of this study are (1) to find out whether there is a relationship between psychological well-being and burnout among oil palm workers. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive and correlational design. The population of this study were oil palm workers in Kepau Jaya village, Kampar with a total sample of 50 workers. The sampling technique used is the nonprobability sampling technique used in this study using saturated sampling. Using spearman rank order correlation data analysis techniques with research instruments in the form of a psychological well-being scale and a burnout scale with a reliability of 0.627 and 0.914, this reliability was obtained from the number of valid items of 16 items for the psychological well-being scale and 23 items for the burnout scale. The results of the study show that oil palm workers have moderate psychological well-being and have moderate and low burnout. and there is no relationship between psychological well-being and burnout among oil palm workers with a correlation rate of 0.119, a significance of 0.411 and p > 0.05. Suggestions given from research for subjects so that subjects pay attention and can improve their psychological well-being, so that they can remain stable at work. The way that can be done by the subject is by realizing that psychological well-being is very influential for physical, mental and emotional health, ability to deal with social pressure, being able to control complicated situations at work and having selfacceptance of the work being undertaken.
