Abstract
Group Communication is communication that takes place between a communicator and a group of more than two people who have the same goal and interact with each other to achieve that goal. Group Communication is considered to be one of the most effective ways to maintain good relations with each member in a group. This study aims to find out how group communication on Swara Indragiri FM Radio maintains the existence of companies in Indragiri Hulu. This study uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. There were four informants in this study, namely one leader, one staff member, and two broadcasters on Swara Indragiri FM Radio. This study uses the Effectiveness of Group Communication according to Bungin and the factors that underlie people doing Group Communication according to Rosmawaty which explains the four functions of the effectiveness of Group Communication and the four factors that underlie people doing Group Communication. The results of the study explained that the implementation of Group Communication that had been carried out on Swara Indragiri FM Radio went quite well. With the Problem Solving function or as problem solving, Group Communication relationships will remain systematic, both to fellow members and to the leadership in the Company.
